This Scottish instrument is also called the Northumbrian Half-Long Bagpipe or Border Pipe. It is a bellows blown instrument with a double blade chanter reed and three drones with single blade reeds. There are also a number of small mouthblown Scottish bagpipes that seem to be modeled after this instrument.
