When I was young and lived in New York City my father had a monoscope. We used to go the roof of the building at night and look at the stars and galaxies in the sky. I have been hooked on astronomy ever since.

By trade I am a programmer. My second great love is robotics & Robosapien robots. When I am not editing for the Open Site Project I am an ODP editor for Computers/Robotics/Robots, a MusicMoz editor, and obviously an Open Site Project editor for the Science/Astronomy category. I am also a robot fan of the wonderful Robots.net robotics web site. I also moderate the Robots.net forum and maintain a web site for robot and android enthusiasts at RobotsRule.com.

Hot News! There are some new robots being debuted by WowWee in 2007. The Flytech Dragonfly which is a flying robot that flaps its wings like a real bug. The one robot you won't believe your eyes is the girlfriend to WowWee's original Robosapien, the Femisapien dancebot, WowWee's first female robot ever.

On the lighter side of life I have made a spoof of the famous Numa Numa video made famous by Gary Brolsma. It's called the numa numa english song. The lyrics to the parody are on this page: numa numa lyrics. I've also begun a blog concerning UGobe's Pleo dinosaur robot.

CES 2008 brought us a batch of new robots from WowWee. The most interesting is the Rovio telepresence robot. The WowWee Rovio allows you to monitor your home remotely and easily create patrol routes with its point and click navigation software. Fisher Price has finally really entered the robot toy market with the Elmo Live Doll. With an estimated release date of Octoboer 2008 Elmo Live is the most recent Elmo based toy robot coming from Fisher-Price. He waves his arms, stands and sits, and even sings while telling jokes and stories.

UPDATE: Well it's 2010 and mobile computing is set to rule the world. I've begun programming for the Google Android phone. If you're looking for forums or web sites that cover the devices and phones that run Google's Android operating system, have a look at my Android Forum directory and related web sites.
