Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji was born in the year 1469 in a village named Talwandi which is 65 kms west of Lahore. His father's name was Mehta Kalu and his mother's name was Tripta. He was married to Sulakhani and had two sons named Sri Chand and Lakshmi Chand.

Guru Angad Dev was born on March 31, 1504 in a village named Harike situated in Ferozepur district of the Punjab. His father's name was Bhai Pheru. He was married to Khivi and had 2 daughters and 2 sons. The name of their daughters were Amro and Anokhi. The name of their sons were Dasu and Datu.

Sri Guru Amardas Das ji was born in 1479 at Bhalla Khatri a village Basarke near Amritsar. His father's name was Tej Bhan Bhalla. He had two sons and two daughters.

Sri Guru Ram Das Ji was born in Lahore and called the fourth guru of sikhs. His parents name were Har Das and Daya Vati. He established the city of Amritsar.

Guru Har Gobind Ji was born in 1595 at Wadali, a village near Amritsar. He laid down the foundation of Akal Takhat in 1606 A.D.

Sri Guru Har Rai Ji was the son of Baba Gurditta and grandson of Guru Hargobind Singh Ji. He was born on 16 January 1630 at Kiratpur. He was married to Sulakkhani, daughter of Daya Ram.

Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur ji was the ninth guru of sikhs and he was the youngest son of Sri Guru Hargobind Singh Ji. He was born on April 1, 1621 in Amritsar.

Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji was the tenth and the last Guru of the Sikhs. He was born on December 1666 at Patna, in Bihar. He had four sons.
