The Thing is a survival horror themed adventure for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, and PC, based on the 1982 movie of the same name by John Carpenter.

"The Thing" is an alien that can imitate other living things, which used this ability to attack an Antarctic research facility. In an attempt to destroy the alien, the research facility was blown up. The story is set three months after the ending of the movie, where the player controls a team (a medic, an engineer, and a soldier) investigating what happened.
