Corner  DESCRIPTION
Be heard. Be strong. Be proud. It's time to turn up the music and have some fun with an all-new Disney original movie, starring Bridgit Mendler, and Adam Hicks, and introducing ten awesome new songs.

When five ragtag freshman first meet in detention, it seems they have nothing in common. But, through music, they form an unbreakable bond and discover they have the makings of the greatest high school garage band in history! In the face of incredible odds, Olivia, Stella, Wen, Mohini and Charlie find they can make a real difference when they learn to lean on each other and let go of everything holding back their dreams.

Turn the world into your own stage with Lemonade Mouth: Extended Edition, complete with an exclusive music scene. Life is just a roller coaster - take the ride.

Lemonade Mouth is a Disney film about the power of self-expression and believing in oneself. When a group of seemingly incompatible high-school students get assigned detention, they discover a common love of music. Each of the students is dealing with some sort of pressure from home, but finds that collective music-making provides a personal voice that affords them a new sense of freedom and being heard. The kids form a band that quickly becomes popular, much to the dismay of rival band Mudslide Crush, but things definitely aren't easy for them, thanks to a school principal who seems to focus only on sports teams and the corporate sponsorships those teams can procure. Luckily, the band's struggle serves to bring them closer and makes their music more meaningful. There are some great songs in this film, including "Breakthrough," "More Than a Band," and "Determinate." Good Luck Charlie's Bridgit Mendler is quite effective, both as actress and singer, and the rest of the cast, which includes Zeke and Luther's Adam Hicks, Hayley Kiyoko, Naomi Scott, and Blake Michael, also give good performances. While the end of the film could probably have moved a little faster, the pacing is generally good and viewers ages 10 and older should enjoy it. Bonus features include an exclusive interview with the members of Lemonade Mouth that ends with a performance of "Highwire," as well as a rock-along option that displays lyrics onscreen. --Tami Horiuchi
